At the conclusion of this Report of Finding, you can choose to experience your first treatment. As stated above, nothing will be done in our office without your consent and at this time we will ask if you want to be treated. This is the exciting part, where we feel you truly get to "experience the difference". Although we believe that your experience up to this point will also be at a level above your expectations, this is where our advance treatment therapies show you that you chose correctly by trusting Berlener Chiropractic for your health care needs. Our therapies may include but are not limited to hydration and mineral loading, extremity adjustments, spinal adjustments, wobble chair exercises, therapeutic and rehabilitation exercises, cervical traction, stretching, soft tissue therapy, cold laser therapy, and spinal decompression. Treatment is interactive, and we want you to give the doctor continuous feed back, express concerns or comments about the different styles of treatment anytime. We continually educate our patients because we believe an educated patient is a empowered patient and empowered patients get better faster.
We look forward to helping you back to optimal health.
Depending on your specific condition, we may need to send you out for X-rays or other diagnostic testing. X-rays may be needed to help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us to any serious conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their problem, structural misalignments and degeneration themselves. We use Denver Integrated Imaging Center for all of our diagnostic imaging.
Depending on your specific condition, we may or may not treat you on your first visit. But before before your first treatment, we believe that it is very important for you to understand your condition, the cause of, our recommended treatment plan and what the financial and time commitments are. After all of the information is collected and examinations are performed, Dr. Berlener will sit down and spend the necessary time reviewing this information with you. He will answer questions like ... Can you help me? How often do I need to come in? What will my treatment cost? It is our goal that you have a complete understanding and all of you questions answered before we begin your care.
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Berlener to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for the doctor to learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations to determine how our advanced treatments can meet your goals. After your consultation, Dr. Berlener will perform a complete and thorough physical examination. The examination may involve evaluation of areas that are not part of your current complaint because we look at you as a whole person not a just your parts. There are many parts of our evaluation, including neurological, orthopedic, postural, and/or specialized specific tests. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete, if not already done, our new patient history forms. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition. If not already done, please click on the link above, print and fill out your new patient history form at home before your appointment, to help save you time in the office.
